Car Belonging To Missing CA Uber Driver Found

Police said Joshua Thiede was last seen Feb. 11. in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- The car belonging to an Uber and Lyft driver who went missing eight days ago was found Monday. Police said Joshua Thiede's car was found in Koreatown.

Thiede, who reportedly called 911 before he went missing, was last seen near the 1000 block of Wilshire Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. Feb. 11.

"His last call was to 911," said his mother, Janet Thiede, on Facebook. "We love him and need to find him."

Janet Theide said he was working to launch a shoe line when he was working for Uber and Lyft.

Thiede is described as a 29-year-old white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He stands 6 feet tall and weighs around 170 pounds. It is unknown what he was wearing but he was driving a 2014 four-door black Nissan Altima with the California license plate 7CSD450.
