Luxury Supermarket Chain Opening 3 New Stores In LA County: Report

Erewhon is expanding its LA presence in 2025, opening locations in Manhattan Beach, West Hollywood and Glendale.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Luxury supermarket chain Erewhon is expanding its Los Angeles County footprint by opening three new stores in Manhattan Beach, West Hollywood and Glendale.

Known for its organic food choices and celebrity clientele, the chain turned grocery shopping into a trendy activity.

The Manhattan Beach store will be Erewhon's first-ever South Bay location and is set to open in March at 1700 Rosecrans Ave.

The West Hollywood Erewhon location will open at 8550 Santa Monica Blvd in the summer and the Glendale store will open at 520 N. Glendale Ave. toward the end of the year, according to the Los Angeles Times. After relocating its central kitchen to a larger space, the company said it has the capacity to expand around Southern California.

“We see 2025 as the beginning of Erewhon 2.0 — a wave of expansion for us,” chief executive Tony Antoci told the Times.

Erewhon currently has 10 locations, all in LA County:

  • Beverly Hills
  • Calabasas
  • Culver City
  • The Grove
  • Palisades
  • Pasadena
  • Santa Monica
  • Silver Lake
  • Studio City
  • Venice
The Pacific Palisades location is still standing after surviving the Palisades Fire, but is temporarily closed.
