Man Detained For Questioning In South LA Stabbing Death

The stabbing left a man dead in South Los Angeles, authorities said.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A man has been detained for questioning in connection with the stabbing death of another man in South Los Angeles Sunday morning, authorities said.

The assault occurred at about 5:20 a.m. Sunday in the area of 112th Street and Central Avenue, according to Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Division.

Arriving paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, Cervantes said.
