UPDATE: Man Who Was Killed in Single Vehicle Crash In LA ID'd
A motorist was killed in a vehicle crash in the Palms area of LA and may have been at the scene for a day or two before being found.
UPDATE 4/21/23:
Authorities today identified a motorist who was killed in a car crash in the Palms area of Los Angeles.
Joshua Bodor, 19, whose city of residence was unknown, died in the crash that occurred off the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway west of Manning Avenue, according to the coroner's office.

Officers responded to the location around 7:35 a.m. Thursday and found that a car had hit a tree and the motorist had died, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It was unclear how long the wreckage was at the location before being discovered.

``This incident may have occurred one or more days ago, and was possibly delayed in being reported to 911," according to a Los Angeles Fire Department statement on Thursday.

LOS ANGELES -- A motorist was killed in a vehicle crash in the Palms area of Los Angeles and may have been at the scene for a day or two prior to law enforcement arrival, authorities said today.
With details still sketchy, California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched at 7:35 a.m. Thursday to the area of the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway, west of Manning Avenue, the CHP reported.
The motorist had crashed a vehicle into a tree and was pronounced dead at the scene.
While seeking further corroboration, the man and the vehicle may have been at the location for at least a day or two, the CHP said.
A representative from the coroner's office was called out the location at 7:41 a.m.
