Man Shot To Death In Los Angeles County

HAWTHORNE, CA — A man was shot to death Sunday at or near a bar in Hawthorne.

The shooting was reported at 7 p.m. Sunday in the 13700 block of South Inglewood Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which sent homicide detectives to the scene to assist the Hawthorne Police Department in its investigation.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

KCAL reported the victim was shot in the head by a suspect or suspects, who fired from a vehicle from outside The Greatest bar.

No descriptions were available of the involved parties.
