LOS ANGELES, CA — We've rounded up the stories you may have missed over the weekend to prepare you for the week ahead
But before we jump into Southern California's top stories, a week of unseasonably warm temperatures is set to finally break as a cooling trend blankets the region through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are expected to drop a few degrees each day and skies will be mostly clear, aside from low clouds and fog across the coasts and lower valleys at nighttime and in the morning.

"Expect cooling of about 3 to 6 degrees in most places Monday compared to today's highs," the NWS said Sunday.
Later in the week, cooling is expected to continue as a storm moves south, bringing rain as far south as the Central Coast — and windy conditions and even more cooling across Southern California.
