A motorist died Sunday after his vehicle crashed into a Los Angeles Fire Department engine in Pacoima.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A motorist died Sunday after his vehicle crashed into a Los Angeles Fire Department engine in Pacoima.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash scene in the 13000 block of West Terra Bella Street, near the Golden State (5) Freeway, at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The driver of a Toyota Corolla, the lone occupant inside his vehicle, was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to multiple media reports.

Two firefighters aboard the engine were also taken to a hospital with injuries, but were expected to survive, the LAFD added.
