Palisades, Eaton Fires Now 3rd And 4th Most Destructive In CA History

LOS ANGELES, CA — Reactions to the Los Angeles wildfires are turning from horror to numbed disbelief. Over the course of just a few hours, picturesque communities were reduced to ashes.

To put the devastation into perspective, Patch checked the CAL FIRE document on the Worst Wildfires in California History.

The Palisades Fire, with 5,316 structures lost, has vaulted into third place. The Eaton Fire is right behind it in the fourth position. As the fires continue to burn and more information is known, the numbers could change.
