ACROSS AMERICA-- The Thursday launch of SpaceX's Starship rocket did not go as planned in Boca Chica, Texas. Elon Musk's company had intended to send the world's largest rocket on a round trip from the Southern tip of Texas to the Mexican border. Soon after the rocket had lifted off from Starbase, the boosters had failed to peel away from the spacecraft.

Starship took off into the sky, only to implode moments later and crash into the Gulf of Mexico.

SpaceX has plans to test another rocket in the coming months.
