Police Seek Additional Victims Of Downtown LA Vandalism Suspect

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles Police Department arrested a man suspected of tagging distinct figures on buildings in the Downtown area.

At about 12:20 p.m. on May 28, police responded to a radio call about a vandalism incident in the 400 block of South Spring Street. Inside the building, the walls were heavily spray-painted with recognizable heart-shaped characters.

Detectives later identified Julian-Guy Vladimir Alfa, 30, as a suspect in the incident and acquired a search warrant for his residence. Police carried out the warrant on July 29 in the 700 block of Towne Avenue, where Alfa was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism.
