Prius Hits At Least Two People On 405 Freeway In West Los Angeles

A blue or green Toyota Prius struck at least two people on the 405 Freeway in West Los Angeles Saturday and fled the scene.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A blue or green Toyota Prius struck at least two people on the San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles Saturday and fled the scene, authorities said.

The conditions of the injured were not immediately known, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash on the northbound freeway at Pico Boulevard occurred at about 8:50 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported. Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the scene at 8:51 a.m. rushed at least two people to area hospitals, Humphrey said.
