Pursuit Suspect Stops At Police Station During LA County Chase
A man being pursued by police Wednesday morning stopped at a police station during the chase.
A chase through the San Gabriel Valley came to an unusual end Wednesday morning when the suspect stopped at a police station and surrendered, according to reports.
The pursuit began before 7 a.m. on Fair Oaks Avenue near the Pasadena-South Pasadena line after a caller reported the suspect was knocking on a woman's door; she believed he was trying to break in, Fox 11 reported.
By the time officers arrived, the man was in a Toyota Prius. Police unsuccessfully tried to conduct a traffic stop and the chase began, KTLA reported.

The man drove recklessly through the western San Gabriel Valley, running stop signs and nearly hitting a pedestrian, KTLA reported.
He briefly entered the eastbound 10 Freeway before exiting in El Monte.

At around 7:20 a.m., the man parked the Prius outside the El Monte Police Department, where he surrendered. He was in the custody of the South Pasadena Police Department following the chase, Fox 11 reported.
