Rapper Killer Mike Arrested At Grammys After Winning 3 Awards

Killer Mike was arrested outside of Crypto.com Arena by the LAPD on suspicion of misdemeanor battery after winning three Grammys.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Shortly after winning three Grammy awards at the awards ceremony, rapper Killer Mike was arrested outside of Crypto.com Arena by Los Angeles police and is facing a misdemeanor charge of battery Monday.

The alleged physical altercation happened around 6 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Chick Hearn Court, downtown, according to Los Angeles police Officer Mike Lopez. It was unclear who the victim was.

The suspect, 48-year-old Michael Renner, aka Killer Mike, was handcuffed and taken to LAPD's Central Division, Lopez said.

Killer Mike was in the process of bailing out, Lopez said. His bail amount was not provided.
