LOS ANGELES, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

It was a rainy weekend this week across the Southland and California, with temperatures in the 50s and up to an inch of rain in some locations. The recent storms prompted President Biden to approve a disaster declaration to bring millions of aid to help California counties affected by the storms, including Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

Also this weekend, a 3.8-magnitude earthquake rattled eastern San Diego and Riverside counties, shaking the Coachella music festival. No injuries were reported.

In shocking news, a man in Marina del Rey allegedly fired dozens of rounds from the rooftop of an apartment building and live-streamed it on social media. No one was injured, and the suspect was taken into custody early Sunday morning. Bystanders told authorities that the suspect is a 41-year-old self-employed chef specializing in Vietnamese cuisine.
