Security Guard Stabbed On Metrolink Train In Los Angeles County
Responding deputies detained someone described as a "person of interest."
ACTON, CA — A security guard aboard a Metrolink train was stabbed Sunday evening and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies detained a "person of interest."
The stabbing was reported at 9:57 p.m. Sunday at the Vincent Grade train station in Acton, according to Lt. Stephen Sgrignoli of the Palmdale Sheriff's Station. The condition of the victim was not immediately available, he said.

A news videographer at the scene said the wounded victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
Metrolink posted on X that Antelope Valley Line 285 to Lancaster was holding due to police activity and offered riders $50 to use for alternative transportation. It reported at 10:57 p.m. that the train was moving again.
