SigAlert: Semi Carrying Onions Flips On I-10

A Sigalert was still in effect mid-day Monday.

BALDWIN PARK, CA — A semitrailer carrying onions flipped sideways overnight, causing a Sigalert on Interstate 10 in Baldwin Park, according to reports.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. but the Sigalert was extended repeatedly and was still in effect as of about 11:45 a.m. Monday on the eastbound interstate at Baldwin Park Boulevard, according to preliminary information from California Highway Patrol.

Crews were moving the onions from the flipped truck onto a replacement Monday morning, KNBC reported.
