Super Bowl 2022 Tickets Could Be Most Expensive Ever

INGLEWOOD, CA — The Super Bowl is rarely affordable for the average football fan. The world's annually top-viewed televised event all but prices out most fans, save for those with deep pockets or connections.

But ticket prices for Super Bowl 56 between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood are particularly eye-popping.

Record-breaking, in fact.

A single ticket would set you back no less than $5,288 on Thursday, according to Ticketmaster.com. The priciest? A cool $180,000.

Brett Goldberg, Co-CEO of TickPick, a no-fee ticket marketplace, wrote in a blog post Thursday that as of this week, the cheapest Super Bowl 56 ticket was going for about $5,200. The average listing price, he said, was just above $12,000.

"If those numbers hold up, Super Bowl 56 at SoFi Stadium will be the most expensive Super Bowl ever," he said.

Here are the range of prices available for other groups of tickets, according to Ticketmaster.

  • Two tickets: $4,839 each, up to $65,000 each.
  • Three tickets: $5,660 each, up to $50,000 each.
  • Four tickets: $5,328 each, up to $62,261 each.
  • Five tickets: $5,660 each, up to $42,500 each
