Armed Teen Suspected Of Abducting 9-Month-Old Sought By Police
The CHP issued and deactivated an AMBER alert for an infant who was abducted by an 18-year-old in LA County Wednesday morning.

HUNTINGTON PARK, CA — The California Highway Patrol is searching for an 18-year-old suspect who is suspected of abducting an infant early Wednesday morning.
According to an AMBER alert issued by CHP on behalf of the Huntington Park Police Department at 7:46 a.m., 9-month-old Jaydan Avalos was abducted by suspect David Avalos. Law enforcement did not disclose any relation between the two.
The infant was located and the AMBER alert was deactivated at 9:08 a.m.

Police described Avalos as armed and dangerous and said his last known location was Normandie Avenue and West 228th Street in West Carson. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes, authorities said.
Law enforcement is seeking a red IS 200T Lexus sedan with the license plate 9DDZ693 in connection with the abduction, the alert said.
