Two Teens Shot And Killed In Willowbrook

The two boys were found around 11 p.m. last night after their car crashed into a parked vehicle.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Two teen boys with fatal gunshot wounds were found in a crashed car in Willowbrook around 11 p.m. Thursday night. Both victims were discovered in the 12200 block of Maple Avenue and were pronounced dead on the scene.

Deputy James Nagao of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said officers arrived on the scene after reports that a car had crashed into a parked vehicle. While they were en route, deputies learned the victims in the collision had also been shot.

Both teens had gunshot wounds in their upper body. Family members identified the victims as 16-year-old Millyon Colquitt and 17-year-old Jamele Hill. Coulquitt, who would have turned 17 in a few days, was an 11th grader at Centennial High School, while Hill was a senior at Gardena High School

"[Millyon Colquitt] was a really good kid, he just lost his mom not even a year ago,” Krystal Jackson, Colquitt’s aunt, told CBSLA.

Suspects in the shooting were still at large, and a motive was not known.
