Union Station Cleared After Suspicious Item Reported

Police were called to Union Station early Friday morning to investigate a suspicious item. The area was cleared by the morning rush hour.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities went to Union Station early Friday on a report of a suspicious item.

Police went to the station in the 800 block of North Alameda Street about 2 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

No threat to public safety was found, and the area was cleared by about 5 a.m., police said.
