What Was That Orb In The Sky Above SoCal?
The sight came with a loud boom for some Southern California residents. Did you see it?

LOS ANGELES, CA — Another batch of SpaceX's Starlink internet satellites were catapulted into space from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Monday, leaving contrails aglow in the sky that could be seen across hundreds of miles of Southern California.
The sight over SoCal was the Falcon 9 launch of 23 new Starlink internet satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4, which was scheduled for 6:09 p.m. Monday.
Ahead of the launch, SpaceX warned that residents in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Ventura counties may hear one or more "sonic booms" during takeoff.

"What residents experience will depend on weather and other conditions," SpaceX said.
The targeted liftoff window was originally set for Sunday, until it was moved to Monday. Other launch opportunities.

The launch is reported just two days after SpaceX launched 21 more Starlink constellations from Cape Canaveral in Florida.
Starlink is SpaceX's 12000-satellite low Earth orbit satellite which provides broadband internet access.
The very first batch of 60 Starlink satellites were launched in 2019, according to NASA.
