Who Is Mickey Guyton? Super Bowl LVI National Anthem Singer Named
First-of-its kind flyover to mark Air Force's 75th anniversary as Grammy-nominated artist Mickey Guyton sings "The Star-Spangled Banner."

INGLEWOOD, CA — Grammy-nominated artist Mickey Guyton will sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVI, to be played Sunday, Feb. 13, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the National Football League announced.
As Guyton performs “The Star Spangled Banner,” a first-of-its-kind flyover will honor the 75th anniversary of the Air Force, the NFL said. The Air Force Heritage Flight will feature a P-51 Mustang, A-10C Thunderbolt II, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-22 Raptor, and a F-35A Lightning II.
The pregame show begins at 5:30 p.m. Central Time, and the game between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals begins at 6. Also in the pregame lineup are:

- Six-time Grammy-nominated hitmaker Jhené Aiko will sing “America the Beautiful.”
- Actress Sandra Mae Frank will perform the “National Anthem” and “America the Beautiful” in American Sign Language.
- Mary Mary, the multi-Grammy and multi-award-winning Gospel sister duo of Erica and Tina Campbell, will perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing," a hymn of great cultural and historic significance known as the Black National Anthem. They will be accompanied by LA Phil’s Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, conducted by Thomas Wilkins, the principal conductor of LA Phi’s Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
- Multi-platinum Grammy Award-winning artist, DJ and producer Zedd will act as the official pregame DJ during player warmups.
Guyton earned a Grammy nomination for best country album with her 2021 debut album, “Remember Her Name.” She’s the first Black artist ever to be nominated in that category. She also received nominations for best country song and best country solo performance.
“I am shook, I am grateful, I am praise dancing,” she wrote in a tweet that punctuated “look at God” with emojis of applauding hands. “So excited to be singing the national anthem at #SBLVI on February 13th!”

The NFL previously announced Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre Eminem and Kendrick Lamar will perform during halftime of the game between the National Football Conference champion Rams and American Football Conference champion Bengals.
Super Bowl LVI will air on NBC and Telemundo, and stream live on Peacock.
