Woman Fatally Shot In Los Angeles County

LYNWOOD, CA — A woman was found shot to death Sunday morning in Lynwood.

The shooting was reported about 5:45 a.m. Sunday in the 12500 block of Oak Street, just west of Long Beach Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, but investigators believe she had been shot several hours earlier, before being discovered, the sheriff's department announced.
