Woman Violently Sexually Assaulted While Walking Dog On LA Street: Report

The suspect in the attack remains at large, according to a report.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A man wanted for a violent sexual assault on a woman who was walking her dog in downtown Los Angeles remains at large, according to a report.

The incident occurred early on the morning on Nov. 8 in front of a high-rise building near the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Surveillance footage aired by KTLA shows a man approaching a woman, who was walking with her dog alone. The woman, who is identified only as Terra, told KTLA the attacker pushed her against the building, grabbed her by the neck and groped her.

“He grabbed the back of my neck, and my crotch area, and I was screaming for help,” she told the station.

Terra said she managed to break free, but the man hit her and tackled her to the ground.

Her screams eventually caught the attention of a bystander, who rushed over and fought off the attacker, who got up and walked away, KTLA reported.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the case as a sexual battery. Authorities believe the suspect is homeless, KTLA reported.

No arrests have been made.
