Woman Who Brutally Beat Teen At LA McDonald's ID'd, Arrested: LAPD
Detectives from the LAPD's Harbor Area have arrested A suspect in the beating of a 13-year-old girl at a McDonald's restaurant.
LOS ANGELES -- Detectives from the LAPD's Harbor Area have arrested a woman who's suspected of the beating of a 13-year-old girl at a McDonald's restaurant that was caught on video.
The case stems from a Sept. 6 incident where cell phone video recordings captured a female adult suspect assaulting the victim, unprovoked, at the fast food restaurant, located in the 1700 block of Lomita Boulevard. Video of the incident can be seen below.
"The public’s continued interest in the incident resulted in investigators receiving numerous leads, ultimately assisting detectives in positively identifying the suspect," the LAPD said in a statement.

On Sept. 28, detectives located and arrested the suspect, Ariana Lauifi, and she was subsequently booked for one count of 273a(a) PC, Felony Child Abuse. Her case is being referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration, according to the LAPD.
