2 Children Held At Gunpoint During OC Home Robbery: Report

Three robbery suspects are at large after holding four people, including two young girls, at gunpoint during a robbery in Westminster.

WESTMINSTER, CA — Suspects held the residents of a Westminster home, including two young girls, at gunpoint while they ransacked the house, according to a report from KTLA.

The armed robbery was reported at about 1:40 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 13400 block of Milan Street, according to the Westminster Police Department. When officers arrived just two minutes later, they watched three men flee the area in a gray van.

“Officers attempted a traffic stop on the van and a pursuit ensued, but the vehicle was lost in the area of Westminster Boulevard and Bolsa Chica Road,” Westminster police told KTLA. “All the male suspects were observed wearing hooded sweatshirts with the hoods over their heads.”

The police pursuit terminated just along the border of Seal Beach.

According to preliminary investigation results, three suspects forced entry into the home of a family that included a man, a woman and two girls aged 7 and 4. The suspects entered the man's bedroom and asked where he kept his money and held him at gunpoint.

Police said the suspects ransacked the bedroom and stole several valuable items.
