LOS ALAMITOS, CA — Families in Los Alamitos still have time to contribute to the Education Foundation's Fundraising February.

The Los Alamitos Education Foundation is raising funds to support "The Whole Child" through many programs and grants across all nine district schools. The non-profit provides mental health, family housing, parent enrichment and nutrition education services to vulnerable families.

Since 2013, LAEF has given $2.7 million in direct support to schools in the district, with $540,000 supporting student mental health and $517,000 supporting STEAM education.

Those who are interested in bidding or shopping to support the foundation and Los Al kids can browse the Online Auction. There are over 70 items to bid on including travel packages and kids activities.
