Los Alamitos To Host Donation Drive For School Supplies
The Los Alamitos Community Center will accept donations of new backpacks and school supplies later in June.
LOS ALAMITOS, CA — Residents are being asked to help Los Alamitos families in need by participating in an upcoming donation drive for school supplies.
The Los Alamitos Community Center has teamed up with the Southland Credit Union to hold a drive-up, drop-off event on June 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. New backpacks and school supplies are being sought after and will be sent to "local non-profits to help children in need," Los Alamitos officials said.

- erasers
- 24 packs of crayons
- 12 packs of colored pencils
- highlighters
- glue sticks
- kid-friendly scissors
- three-ring binders
- computer paper
- scientific calculators
Residents unable to make it to the drive-up, drop-off event can still bring the supplies to the Los Alamitos Community Center Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
