ORANGE COUNTY, CA — It's the most wonderful time of the year in Orange County, and the Orange County Rescue Mission is ensuring that every resident can take part in the holiday festivities at the 17th annual "Miracle at the Mission."

The event will bring together hundreds of Orange County men, women and children who are experiencing homelessness at the OC Rescue Mission's Village of Hope campus.

At the event, parents can "shop" for the perfect gifts for their children from a variety of donated items, meet Santa, enjoy a holiday dinner and more.

"Miracle at the Mission shows our residents they are not alone and that an entire community is cheering them on," Bryan Crain, President of Orange County Rescue Mission, told Patch. "By creating a space filled with celebration, generosity, and connection, we’re giving families the opportunity to experience the dignity of providing for their children and the joy of belonging during the holiday season."
