Los Altos/Los Altos Hills Students Make University Honor Lists

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Jeremy Macaluso of Los Altos was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2012 semester. He is a freshman majoring in computer science at the WPI, located in Western MA. 

Laurel K. Saldinger, of Los Altos has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2012 semester at the University of Vermont. Saldinger is a sophomore Animal Sciences major in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.

Bharat Sampathi, of Los Altos, has been named to Wayne State University's fall 2012 Dean's List for academic excellence. Sampathi is majoring in Economics. Wayne State is in Detroit's Midtown neighborhood.

Emory University has named the following students to the honor lists for the 2012 fall semester.

• Edmund Xu of Los Altos, Oxford College, Honor List
• Samir Kishore of Los Altos, Oxford College, Merit List

The following students were named on Gonzaga University's President's List for fall semester 2012. 

• Chelsea Colnett, of Los Altos
• Connor Roberts, of Los Altos

Allison M. Hampel, of Los Altos, has been named to first honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2012 semester. Clark is also in Worcester, MA. 

Loyola Marymount University has announced these students from Los Altos were named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester. LMU is located in Los Angeles.
