Indecent Exposure Suspect Arrested By Los Altos Police; 7 Alleged Victims Known So Far
The Los Altos Police Dept. has arrested Christian Itule, age 25 of Portola Valley, in connection with multiple cases of indecent exposure.

SOUTH BAY, CA -- The Los Altos Police Department has arrested Christian Itule, age 25 of Portola Valley, in connection with multiple cases of indecent exposure and child annoyance.
The arrest came in response to tips to PD received after it published a press release on Monday, April 24, to alert the community of two recent alleged cases of indecent exposure. One incident allegedly occurred on April 21, at about 3:40 p.m. in the area of S. Gordon Way and Hawthorne Avenue in Los Altos. A suspect, driving a vehicle, approached the victim who was riding a bicycle and made verbal contact. The suspect exposed himself during his contact with the victim. The victim turned away and rode home, police say.
The second alleged incident occurred later on April 21, at about 4:16 p.m. in front of a residence located in the 400 block of Valencia Drive in Los Altos. In this case, the suspect pulled up next to two victims who were walking on Valencia Drive and made verbal contact. The actions of the suspect caused the victims to be frightened, so the victims turned away and ran home, according to police.

In both cases, the suspect was described as a white male adult, about 18 to 20 years old, with long wavy blond red hair pulled back in a ponytail, light complexion. The suspect was last seen wearing a black beanie and dark clothing.
About at 5 p.m. on April 26, a third incident allegedly occurred in the area of Morton Court and Jardin Drive in Los Altos. As with the two prior cases, the suspect was driving a vehicle when he approached the victim who was walking in the area. The suspect pulled up next to the victim and spoke to her. Shortly after, the victim contacted Los Altos Police to report the suspicious activity, and described the driver as a white male adult with a black beanie and described the vehicle as a tan sedan.

Los Altos Police Department patrol officers located the vehicle and contacted the driver, identified as Itule. After follow-up investigation and interviews, police say Itule was arrested for the recent incidents in Los Altos, and was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for two counts of California Penal Code § 314 – Indecent Exposure and seven counts of California Penal Code § 647.6(a)(1) PC – Annoying a Child.
Detectives have identified a total of seven victims ranging in ages from 11 to 16 and are continuing to investigate these crimes.
