John Chambers' Los Altos Hills Home For Sale

After moving to Palo Alto, the Chambers' five-bedroom, seven-bath house on Via Feliz is on the market.

The Wall Street Journal reported this week that Cisco CEO John Chambers has put up for sale his Los Altos Hills home for $14.8 million. The Via Feliz house, handled by Mary and Brent Gullixon of Alain Pinel, is comprised of three parcels totalling 6.1 acres.

The Chambers moved to Palo Alto near Foothill Park after completing the unfinished home of WebTV co-founder Phillip Goldman.

The Via Feliz home, which is now for sale, is described on Gullixson's site as a setting that is "extremely private," and at the same time having "ample room for managing large gatherings inside and out and beautiful park-like grounds on which to stroll."

The Chambers have often used their Los Altos Hills home, with its large terraces and manicured gardens, to entertain large gatherings, something they carried over to the design of their new home in Palo Alto, that was used to host a ladies' luncheon  in May.

The two-story Via Feliz home hosts a fitness center, sauna, recreation room and bar, sound system, library, three family rooms, five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. It has a pool, spa and tennis court, according to its listing.
