LOS ALTOS - An Ohio man who went missing out of Los Altos early Friday morning has been located and is safe, according to Los Altos Police.
Nathan Ross, 38, didn't make his 6 a.m. flight back to his home state and didn't check out of a hotel room in Los Altos, according to police.
The last known contact Ross had was a text message he sent to a family member around 5 a.m., police said.

Investigators suspected the 38-year-old was in the 900 block of Geary Street in downtown San Francisco around 7 a.m., according to police.
Ross was known to travel in a taxi or other form of public transportation, police said.
