Police Calls: Search For A Crowing Rooster

One week a resident calls . Aug. 14 it was to shut up a rooster. 

Noisy Animal

6:44 a.m., Concord Avenue and Portland Avenue, report of a crowing rooster, officer responded and was unable to locate the rooster

7:47 a.m., Edge Lane and Seena Avenue, reports of loose dog in the area, information forwarded to animal services

Health & Safety Violation

7:52 a.m., 200 block of Fremont Avenue, subject was arrested for possession of drugs

Check on Welfare

10:21 a.m., 911, Homestead Road and El Sereno Avenue, welfare check for distressed woman standing in driveway and yelling at tow truck driver, officers responded

11:18 a.m., 2310 Homestead Road (Foothill Crossing), private property tow

1:56 a.m., 2310 Homestead Road , private property tow

Accident, no-injuries

12:34 p.m., 201 Almond Avenue (Los Altos High School), accident hit and run,  no injuries, report taken

12:44 p.m., 900 block of Fremont Avenue, accident, no injuries, report taken

Disturbance

12:35 p.m., 900 block of Fremont Avenue, disturbance, officers responded and they were gone on arrival
