Police Calls: Stolen Car Found at Rancho
A burglar strikes in south Los Altos, and police issue a citation for a particularly noisy dog and the off-leash dogs of Grant Park continue their romps, all found in the July 24 police log.

- 2:07 p.m., 1400 block of Wessex Drive, municipal code violation, removal of heritage tree without permit, action stopped by officer, resident referred to planning department
- 2:48 p.m., 2310 Homestead Road, municipal code violation, unlicensed solicitor – subject with a non-profit organization so no permit required, agreed to move on; information only

- 12:08 p.m, Magdalena Avenue & Foothill Expressway, off-leash dog, officer checked area and was unable to locate

- 5:12 p.m., 800 block of Parma Way, barking dog causing a noise disturbance, no one home, message left, information only at this time
