15 San Jose Carjackings, 3 Pursuits Linked To 11 Youths: Police
BREAKING: Eleven juveniles from San Jose and Gilroy have been arrested for the alleged weekend crime spree, San Jose police said Wednesday.

SANTA CLARA VALLEY, CA — Eleven youths have been arrested on suspicion of robbing, burglarizing and carjacking 15 San Jose residents and eventually leading police on three high-speed chases over the weekend, police said. The offenses occurred throughout the city by 11 youths — males and females — who were from San Jose and Gilroy and 11 to 17 years old.
Several of the robberies involved the use of a gun. The drivers of the vehicles involved in the pursuits were 11, 14 and 17 years old, according to police.
The children have all been arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of carjacking, stealing a vehicle, evading police, reckless driving and resisting arrest.

Police said that robbery detectives are still investigating the offenses and believe there are other victims who haven't reported offenses.
