2 Arrested, 1000s Of Fentanyl & Adderall Pills Seized In San Jose
Police estimate a drug bust earlier in the month netted almost $1 million in illicit drugs, weapons and cash.
SAN JOSE, CA — A drug bust earlier this month in South San Jose netted two suspects and drugs with a street value of nearly $1 million, including thousands of fentanyl and Adderall pills, along with weapons and cash, police said Monday.
San Jose residents Omar Box, 24, and Laneyia Santos, 19, were arrested on suspicion of multiple drug and weapons-related charges, authorities said. The suspects are set to appear in Santa Clara County Superior Court on Tuesday.
The arrests came about 10:30 p.m. on July 14, when police served a search warrant at a home in the 3000 block of Rubino Drive. The search allegedly turned up 28,000 Adderall pills, 1,000 M30 fentanyl pills, 30 pounds of marijuana, 40 grams of cocaine, 3 ounces of methamphetamine, a 9mm ghost gun, an unregistered Glock pistol and Mac-10 firearm, ammunition, and over $12,000 in cash.

The seizure has an estimated street value of nearly $1 million, and the drugs found have been associated with numerous overdose deaths, according to police.
