2 Bodies Discovered By CHP In Pickup Truck
The case is being investigated as a double homicide.

SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS — Authorities are investigating a double homicide after two bodies were found Monday evening in a pickup truck in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
The truck was discovered about 6:50 p.m. in a pullout area along State Route 35, also known as Skyline Boulevard, near Oak Ridge Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The coroner's office has determined the deaths to be homicide, CHP spokesperson Andrew Barclay said. Information about the victims or how they died has not been released.

The heavily wooded area along Skyline is near several parks and trailheads, including Sanborn County Park and Castle Rock State Park.
