2 Los Altos Men Caught Speeding in Stolen Car
The stolen vehicle's driver was on probation for car theft, according to police.

LOS GATOS, CA -- Two 24-year-old Los Gatos men have been arrested after officers saw them speeding in an allegedly stolen vehicle, according to police.
Around 4:05 p.m. on Jan. 2, police saw a vehicle speeding in the 1500 block of Pollard Road in Los Gatos and conducted a high-risk traffic stop.
According to Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police, the stolen vehicle's driver was found to be on probation for vehicle theft, and was arrested on suspicion of probation violation, vehicle theft, driving under the influence and possession of burglary tools.

The passenger was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property from a nearby merchant. The property was recovered and the suspects jailed, police said.
The names of the two suspects have not yet been released.
