2 Workers Burned By Power Line Rescued By SJFD
Fire crews worked with PG&E and SJPD to reach two men who were burned by a power line while working in a bucket lift 40 feet in the air.

SAN JOSE, CA — San Jose fire crews rescued two workers Friday who were on a bucket lift when they made contact with a power line and suffered burns, the fire department said.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene Friday afternoon at Zanker Road and Vilaggio Street in North San Jose. Fire crews worked with PG&E to secure the electricity and ground high-tension lines, then moved to reach the men stranded 40 feet in the air.

Medics said both workers were alive and conscious, and rescuers were able to get them to safety and rush them to Valley Medical Center for treatment.
