250 Backpacks Donated To Santa Clara County Homeless Program

The backpacks will be distributed at various program sites and also given out as street medicine teams make rounds in area encampments.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — The Nigerian Nurses Association of Northern California will donate 250 backpacks to the Valley Homeless Health Program in Santa Clara County this Tuesday.

The backpacks will benefit unsheltered people in Santa Clara County. Backpacks are vital possessions as they can be used to carry all basic human necessities, clothes, toiletries, and more, according to the Nigerian Nurses Association of Northern California.

The backpacks will be distributed at various program sites and will also be given out as street medicine teams make rounds in area encampments.

The drop-off will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Valley Health Center Downtown, 777 East Santa Clara St. in San Jose.
