Bay Area Public Safety Career Fair Planned This Month
More than 40 police and fire agencies will participate in a career fair scheduled this month in San Jose.

SAN JOSE, CA — Bay Area job seekers interested in a career in public safety will have a chance this month to meet with recruiters and learn more about opportunities at police and fire agencies across the region.
The South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium will host a career fair on May 20, featuring demonstrations from police departments in San Jose, Redwood City and Milpitas, joined by close to three dozen other agencies.

- Location: The Academy at Coyote Valley (560 Bailey Avenue, San Jose)
Participants will have a chance to see how helicopter, K9 and drone operations work, then meet with recruiters and hiring managers from numerous law enforcement and fire agencies. The event will include representatives from Alameda, San Mateo Santa Clara counties, and police departments around San Francisco, Berkeley, Fremont, Palo Alto, Gilroy and elsewhere.
Participating fire and medic agencies include Salnias, San Jose, Santa Clara County and AMR.
