CHP Shuts Down Hwy 17 Due to Landslide Danger
The California Highway Patrol has completely shut down Highway 17 in both directions near the Summit due to imminent slide danger.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- The California Highway Patrol has completely shut down Highway 17 in both directions near the Summit due to imminent slide danger.
North and south traffic on Highway 17 is closed to all traffic between the Summit and Vine Hill Road, the CHP said Friday, Feb. 10.
Suggested alternate routes include Highway 92 through Half Moon Bay or Highway 129 through Watsonville, although motorists are strongly advised to check these routes before departure.
