SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- A stretch of state Highway 9 in Santa Clara County that's been closed since Feb. 10 is expected to reopen in both directions at midnight on Wednesday, Feb. 15, Caltrans officials said Monday.
The highway was closed on Friday morning between the Santa Cruz County line and Redwood Gulch Road for mudslide removal and was originally going to reopen on Sunday, but that has been delayed while crews still work to clear the area, Caltrans said.
Current road conditions can be found at Caltrans' site at quickmap.dot.ca.gov.
