Enjoy These Fourth of July Drinks
Mix up one of these (family-friendly) drinks this Fourth of July holiday.

Ingredients:
- One 6 oz. can frozen orange juice
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 10 ice cubes
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend for about one minute, and pour into glasses -- chill glasses ahead of time if possible. Makes 2-3 servings.
Root Beer Floats

Ingredients:
- Two scoops of vanilla ice cream per serving
- One can of root beer per serving
Directions:
Scoop ice cream into large cups or glasses. Fill remainder of cup with root beer. Top off with fresh root beer as you like.
Variation: Not a root beer fan? Replace the ice cream with sherbet and the root beer with lemon-lime soda for a Sherbet Float.
Ingredients:
- One 6 oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- One 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 liter lemon-lime soda
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients. Add lemon-lime soda just before serving.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 ripe banana, peeled
- 10 oz. unsweetened pineapple juice
- 3 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 3 oz. frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 1/2 quart ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
Directions:
Bring water and sugar to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and cool. Mash bananas and add some of the pinapple juice; strain. Add sugar-water mixture and juices. Freeze, stirring once.
Thaw frozen mixture for two hours or until softened. Scoop frozen mixture into cups and add ginger ale or lemon-lime soda immediately before serving. Makes 10 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 c. raspberries, fresh or frozen
- 4 c. orange juice
- lemon-lime soda
- ice
Directions:
Put 1/4 c. crushed raspberries in the bottom of each of four glasses. Add 1 c. up orange juice to each glass. Add a small handful of ice to each glass and top off with lemon-lime soda.
