Firearms Land-Use Ordinance on Planners Agenda Tonight
New land-use zoning being recommended by ad hoc subcommittee where retail firearm sales will occur in the future in Los Gatos.
The Los Gatos Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St., to consider a firearms land-use ordinance.

Other issues being considered by the commission include:
- Property owner and applicant Kamran Shafiei is requesting approval to demolish a pre-1941 single-family residence at 17265 Wedgewood Ave. to construct a new residence on property zoned R-1:8.
- Property owners and applicants John and Marni Balletto are appealing a decision by the Community Development director denying a tree removal permit at 36 Peralta on property zoned R-1:8.
