Hwy 17 SB Closed As Truck Hauling Crane Crashes Into Overpass
The tractor-trailer hauling a crane flipped when it hit the overpass, exposing rebar and rolling concrete all over the southbound lanes.
LOS GATOS, CA -- All lanes of southbound Highway 17 are closed this evening at Highway 9 eastbound, north of Los Gatos, after a truck hauling a crane hit an overpass, according to the California Highway Patrol.
As of about 5:30 p.m., the truck had flipped onto its side and concrete was all over the roadway. The overpass appeared to be damaged. Rebar was visible, according to the CHP.
