Jack Rose Libation House Opens at Los Gatos' La Hacienda Inn
New bar in town celebrates its grand opening Dec. 6, 2013.
Russel W. Stanley, owner of La Hacienda Inn, 18840 Saratoga Los Gatos Rd., celebrated the grand opening of a new bar on site the afternoon of Dec. 6.
The new business is called "Jack Rose Libation House" and its Facebook page describes it as also being a pizza place and beer garden.
Its "about" page on Facebook says the bar customizes the menu around hand crafted cocktails and high spirits.
"We did not want to create a restaurant and a bar, but public gathering space that will help cultivate our community through the fostering of conversion, questions, artistry, and dialogue," the description reads.
"Jack Rose Libation House more than houses innovative menus and handcrafted drinks, Jack Rose Libation House is an incubator for meaningful interaction. We’re not interested in trends, recreating another bars ethos, or becoming 'the next big thing.' "
