Power Mostly Restored In Los Gatos: PG&E

Los Gatos and several locations around the Bay Area experienced power outages amid rain and high winds.

LOS GATOS, CA —2 people are without power in Los Gatos as of 12:57 p.m. Monday, Pacific Gas & Electric reports.

Earlier in the day, storm-damaged electric equipment caused an outage affecting 12 customers.

Another outage started at 8:01 and impacted 4 customers. The cause is under investigation, PG&E said.

On Sunday, PG&E reported 16 different storm-related outages throughout the day due to adverse weather that affected a total of 3,558 customers.

Several smaller outages affecting 1-2 people are reported throughout the Bay Area as the biggest storm of the year is delivering rain and the possibility of lightning. In the past 24 hours, San Jose International Airport has reported a total of 0.13 inches of rain and SFO has reported 0.34 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

On Sunday night, the Mountain View Police Department tweeted that more than 14,000 customers lost power. Power has been restored as of Monday morning.
