Lexus of Stevens Creek Helps Los Gatos Nonprofits Connect With Teen Volunteers
More than 1,000 service-oriented youth connect with about 50 nonprofits, including the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce.

Lexus of Stevens Creek held a teen volunteer fair on Saturday, Sept. 28 on its premises in San Jose to connect area nonprofits with high school students searching for service opportunities.
Among the Los Gatos nonprofits participating in the event were the Los Gatos Music & Arts organization, which sponsors the summer Jazz and Music in the Park concerts, and the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce.
The event brought more than 1,000 youth that learned about more than 50 area nonprofits in need of volunteers, said event spokesman Michael Jacobi.
“We’re so pleased to be a part of a program that goes to the very core of answering the needs of our community,” said Jared Miller, general manager of Lexus of Steven’s Creek. “While there is no shortage of good hearted people with the time and the desire to step up, the challenge has long been connecting them with those organizations which are on the front lines of delivering much needed services.”
He added: “We believe that The Teen Volunteer Fair is a very large step in the right direction.”
